What Virality Rephraser needed to solve

Creators want very different things from a rewrite, and they want proof that it helped.

   Some creators want machine phrasing removed, while others want more energy or a plainer explanation, so one rewrite style fits no one.

   Many only want to fix the hook or the outro, not rewrite the whole script.

   Some want light edits and others want a full rebuild, so the amount of change had to be adjustable.

03 / What we built

How we built Virality Rephraser

We built a single Next.js app where the server turns the creator's choices into one prompt and shows the rewrite beside the original.

  Six rephrasing modes

  Creators choose from AI-Proof, Virality Optimised, Humour Injected, Dead Serious, Easier to Understand and Share and Comment Bait, and can layer a second mode on top. Each mode has its own prompt and temperature.

  Section-level rewriting

  Creators tag the text as a hook, intro, mid-video, outro or full script. The tool handles a hook differently from an outro, so fixes land where viewers drop off.

  Three intensity levels

  Subtle, moderate or aggressive sets how much the text changes. The prompt also keeps every fact and stays within 20 percent of the original length.

  Retention Risk Score

  The score counts a fixed list of 18 stock phrases and shows the before and after numbers side by side. Creators get a clear, repeatable measure of how much AI phrasing was removed.

  Live AI signal

  As the creator types, the tool marks how strong the AI signal is in the pasted text. They can see the problem before spending a rephrase.

  Creator workspace

  Signed-in creators see recent rephrases with both scores, search and filter their full history by mode, and set a default creator type and preferred modes in their profile.

  Free, Plus and Pro plans

  Free visitors get one rephrase a day. Plus at $9 a month and Pro at $19 a month remove the limit through Stripe, and a webhook updates the account when a subscription starts, changes or ends.

  Email and Google sign-in

  Creators sign in with email or Google. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, inputs are checked with Zod and a signed session cookie lasts seven days.
